*Position Title:* Part-time Accounting Clerk I
*Essential Functions:*
As an Accounting Clerk I at Hernandez Masonry, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and facilitating efficient financial operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, organizing, and archiving invoices from a diverse range of vendors.
- Entering invoices into Quickbooks with precision and attention to detail.
- Executing payments for invoices using Quickbooks.
- Interacting with vendors via email or phone to obtain invoices and clarify information.
- Preparing comprehensive accounting reports using accounting software and Excel.
- Ensuring accuracy by reconciling accounts receivable ledgers.
- Managing the company's accounts payable email inbox effectively.
*Requirements and Skills:*
To excel in this role, applicants must possess the following requirements and skills:
- Hands-on experience using spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, G-Drive).
- Strong communication skills for professional vendor interaction.
- Proficient data entry skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Extended periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
- Occasional pushing/pulling of file cabinets.
- Frequent typing.
