Local commercial real estate investment and management office is searching for a skilled and motivated person to fill a diverse accounting support position.
The ideal candidate will possess exemplary organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication, advanced computer skills, enjoy detail-oriented tasks, ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines, flexible with changing business needs, a quick learner, and able to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Overview of Responsibilities: - Accounts payable – Process all accounts payable which may include processing invoices and reconciling payments, tying out to contract, entering to proper accounts, preparing checks for signature, processing electronic payments, and electronically filing related supporting documentation - Accounts receivable – Process all cash receipts which may include depositing checks with remote deposit, retrieving electronic/ACH deposit information from bank, applying payment(s) to proper accounts, scanning, and electronically filing related supporting documentation - Vendors – Collect, enter, and maintain vendor information for annual 1099 process - Bank reconciliation - Assist with monthly bank reconciliations which may include downloading electronic bank statements, filing, and preparing reconciliations - Financial reports – Receive/collect, track, review, electronically file, and distribute all financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of simple quarterly financial reporting - Assist with other tasks as needed Qualifications and Experience: - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper; minimum of three (3) years required.
- Proficient technology skills, including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat required.
Experience with Famous software preferred but not required.
